Overnight ‘Baked Apple’ Oatmeal (crock-pot)
INGREDIENTS
- Dice up 3 apples – any kind will do
Two cups of steel cut oats
2 cups of milk (of your choosing)
4 cups of water
2 tsp. of vanilla
2 tsp. of cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
Coconut oil / cooking spray? the inside of your crock pot to help keep the oatmeal from sticking
Add the steel cut oats (*note: it has to be steel cut!)
Add remaining ingredients
Set the slow cooker to low and cook covered for about 7 hours. Baked Apples & Oatmeal cooked to perfection and ready for breakfast! Stir it up and add your favorite toppings / flavors. It keeps great in the fridge for at least a week!
