What is Metabolic Health?
IT IS FINDING THE RIGHT BALANCE OF FOOD, EXERCISE, AND OTHER HEALTH FACTORS TO CREATE A BODY THAT IS BALANCED AND HEALTHY. WHEN OUR METABOLIC SYSTEM IS WORKING THE WAY THAT IT SHOULD, WE SEE IMPROVEMENTS IN OUR OVERALL WELLNESS.
*Metabolism refers to the millions of chemical reactions the human body performs every single second. Reactions involved in circulation, digestion, gut health, bone health, joint health, liver health, kidney health, cognitive function, heart health, cholesterol control, glucose control, and ‘many’ other facets. All of the reactions that fuel these processes are known as the metabolism.
There is a breakdown in human metabolic health, worldwide, this is called metabolic syndrome, which can be: 1. elevated waist circumference 2. high triglycerides 3. low HDL 4. high blood pressure 5. high blood glucose levels.
